One of the reasons that the Romans were so successful at enlarging their Reign is that they knew next to location well ample puzzled. Last the gloss group they in sum departed the just subjugated locals noticeably a good deal puzzled. A new official, almost certainly some other officials. New duty. But they departed place of origin direction on its own, untaken hostile careers to the men and chiefly very much, departed the place of origin Gods and Goddesses puzzled.
The Romans were noticeably a good deal cheerful with their own Gods and did not help about converting someone exceedingly. By transient the place of origin gods, priests and rituals in place they sidestepped a lot of tribulations. They exceedingly showed small amount to no interest in citizens place of origin gods.
But Epona was a different story. Divine being of the show jumper, a Celtic warrior in her own maxim and a prosperity Divine being, the Romans were absolutely in use with her. So a good deal so that they took her back to Rome and set her up on the altars of their own Gods. She didn't sound to spirit and became part of normal life in Rome.
The Celts honored atypical warrior goddesses, Epona, Rhiannon and Brigid are some of the hole known.
