O QUE FAZER
* Leia quantos livros sobre o assunto voc^e puder - sobre hist'oria, mitos, poesia, psicologia e ci^encia assim como livros de magia ou Bruxaria.
* Monte sua pr'opria biblioteca de pesquisa. Part notas ou sublinhe passagens que interessam a voc^e. Se voc^e tem uma pergunta sobre o que est'a escrito, coloque uma interrogac~ao pr'oximo a esta passagem. Voc^e deve gostar do que l^e neste est'agio - gostar do assunto realmente ajuda a reter aquilo que voc^e leu melhor do que ficar brigando com livros empoeirados de alquimia (a n~ao ser que voc^e ame alquimia, 'e isso!).
* Comece um di'ario. Voc^e pode at'e cham'a-lo de "Livro das Sombras" se quiser (pode ser um fich'ario, permite que voc^e tenha sec~oes diferentes). Escreva tanto as coisas que voc^e descobre ser de interesse quanto as coisas que voc^e gostaria de saber mais a respeito.
* Olhe a Natureza. Bruxaria e outros caminhos pag~aos s~ao chamado de religi~oes baseadas na Terra ou na Natureza. O que a Natureza diz a voc^e? Traga para casa pedras, bast~oes, folhas ou outras coisas que chamem sua atenc~ao. Agora pergunte-se por que voc^e trouxe aquilo para casa? Escreva a resposta.
* Organize-se. A concentrac~ao 'e uma habilidade importante em m'agica. Regulation a si mesmo a escrever regularmente seu di'ario e escrever as coisas ir~ao ajud'a-lo a desenvolver sua concentrac~ao.
* Aprenda a fazer perguntas espec'ificas a outras bruxas e pag~aos quando precisar de ajuda. E pergunte-se algumas coisas, tamb'em. "O que eu penso que bruxaria 'e? O que acho aqui que tem significado para mim?"
* Fale a verdade. Ser'a que as Bruxas experientes podem dizer se algu'em est'a cheio de si? Podem, e fazem isso rapidamente, tamb'em! Seja honesto sobre o que voc^e sabe e o que n~ao sabe.
* Gaste algum speed sozinho pensando cuidadosamente sobre como voc^e sente e o que voc^e quer para si mesmo. Algumas pessoas somente pensam que a Bruxaria lhes permitir'a mudar outras pessoas e circunst^ancias. Mas ser'a voc^e que mudar'a enquanto explora este Caminho. Voc^e realmente quer mudar?
O QUE N~AO FAZER:
* N~ao v'a muito rapidamente. Voc^e ainda n~ao assumiu nenhum compromisso. Ainda est'a fazendo pesquisa em um assunto que lhe interessa em um n'ivel pessoal. Saltar para uma situac~ao de grupo neste ponto poder'a atrapalhar mais do que ajudar. Voc^e precisa descobrir para onde voc^e est'a indo antes de entrar numa qualquer.
* N~ao sinta-se desencorajado. `As vezes 'e muito dif'icil ir sozinho. Mas a Arte 'e feita de indiv'iduos que trazem alguma coisa de grit para o Caminho - assim como recebe os benef'icios por isso. Muitos tem atitudes de "av^os", voc^e sabe, "Quando eu estava com a sua idade, eu tinha que andar cinco quil^ometros para ir `a escola todo dia, na neve, sem botas, carregando minha irm~a menor, e com um monte de lenha..."
* Bem, de certa forma isto 'e verdade. ERA muito dif'icil ser um Bruxo somente h'a algumas d'ecadas atr'as. Ent~ao perdoe se eles n~ao est~ao prontos a entregar o "ouro" em uma bandeja de prata... voc^e pode ter que andar um quil^ometro ou dois por voc^e mesmo... na neve... sem botas...
* N~ao pergunte sobre ingressar em um coven por enquanto. Um coven 'e um grupo bastante unido que trabalha junto. 'E um processo dif'icil criar uma unidade m'agica efetiva. Muitos covens n~ao procuram ativamente por novos membros, assim como, quando uma pessoa nova entra no grupo, demora at'e a unidade reajustar-se. Existem alguns covens cibern'eticos que aceitam prontamente novos membros. Se voc^e olhar isto como "Exerc'icio de treino", voc^e pode aprender algumas poucas coisas. Pergunte pela Internet.
* N~ao sinta-se temeroso por n~ao fazer parte de um grupo. Muitos, muitos bruxos descobrem depois de muitas tentativas e erros que eles realmente preferem trabalhar sozinhos. Tradicionalmente uma bruxa era uma solit'aria... e muitos ainda s~ao por opc~ao. Freq"uentemente bruxos solit'arios re'unem-se para conversar e trocar informac~oes e ent~ao voltam felizes a suas pr'aticas solit'arias. Voc^e pode fazer um pouco disso tamb'em.
AINDA INTERESSADO?ENT~AO VOC^E PROVAVELMENTE VAI QUERER IR MAIS AL'EM NA PARTE DOIS: FASE EXPLORAT'ORIAVoc^e leu livros, tomou toneladas de notas, escreveu com f'e no seu Livro das Sombras ou di'ario. Voc^e pesquisou na Internet e pode at'e ter perguntado a alguns pag~aos algumas quest~oes que estavam incomodando-lhe. E agora?Aqui 'e onde voc^e comeca a praticar um pouco de discric~ao. Assim que voc^e comeca a separar as coisas que voc^e decidiu que n~ao s~ao para voc^e, e abraca aquilo que sente como correto, voc^e tamb'em toma decis~oes sobre qual o tipo de grupo com o qual voc^e pode sentir-se confort'avel. E muitos iniciantes sentem, neste ponto, que querem encontrar um grupo.Abrir o c'irculo com o Athame, incenso e velas tem apelo para voc^e? Ou poderia simplesmente sentar em sil^encio e deixar seu corac~ao falar?Voc^e 'e mais introvertido que extrovertido? Sonha em liderar um grande ritual p'ublico, j'a sente-se confort'avel falando para grandes grupos de pessoas? Ou voc^e prefere a companhia de alguns amigos 'intimos e chegados? Voc^e quer considerar com cuidado antes de tomar uma decis~ao? Comece a ver-se em contos de her'ois e hero'inas m'isticos. Voc^e pode visualizar-se realmente realizando rituais e c'irculos que leu a respeito. Witness como seria ser membro de um coven, rindo enquanto todos voc^es pulam a fogueira. Como estas imagens e cen'arios fazem voc^e sentir-se? Seja honesto. Ningu'em est'a tomando conta de nada neste ponto.Mais importante, o qu~ao confort'avel voc^e sente-se com o Caminho que est'a pesquisando? Encaixa-se com a sua forma de pensar? N~ao o que voc^e gostaria de ser... nem o que voc^e gostaria que os outros pensassem de voc^e... mas aquilo que voc^e 'e agora. Pense muito sobre isso. Ir'a poupar muita desilus~ao no futuro.Voc^e pode comecar colecionando uma ou outra ferramenta, ou pensando sobre montar um altar. Comece comprando muitas e muitas velas e incensos. Win em lojas de ervas e em cat'alogos por itens m'agicos. Voc^e poder'a at'e comprar algumas coisas. Voc^e estar'a comecando a tomar algumas decis~oes sobre o que sente por dentro. Estar'a explorando novas possibilidades...
FASE EXPLORAT'ORIA
O QUE FAZER ?
* Cuddle a ler, estudar e tomar notas em seu di'ario ou Livro das Sombras. Por que voc^e escolheu este athame? Por que preferiu s^andalo ao inv'es de jasmim? Voc^e deve esconder seu altar quando a vov'o vier visit'a-lo?
* Comece a pensar qual Caminho tem apelo para voc^e... C'eltico? Eg'ipcio? Druida? N~ao consegue decidir? Talvez voc^e seja um tipo ecl'etico?
* Entenda que voc^e mudar'a assim que comecar a falar e interagir com outros Pag~aos. 'E nosso pastime. E faz voc^e pensar sobre aquilo que disse acreditar. Dir'a muito sobre seu comprometimento com o Caminho que escolher para si mesmo.
* Mantenha seu senso de humor. Isto coloca as coisas em perspectiva. Voc^e se ver'a rindo o resto da vida quando olhar para os seus dias de principiante, n'os todos fazemos isso. Estamos ainda aprendendo quando comecamos e ainda n~ao estamos muito bons em nossas primeiras tentativas (estou rindo agora mesmo pensando na primeira vez em que abri um c'irculo!). Mas n'os aprendemos e voc^e tamb'em aprender'a. E desde que estamos todos aprendendo a cada dia, voc^e nunca dever'a fugir das coisas das quais deve rir a respeito.
* Fale pouco e ouca muito. Comment as salas de chats da Internet, em um c'irculo cibern'etico. Win onde mora por c'irculos abertos ao p'ublico ou lojas esot'ericas. Mantenha seus olhos e ouvidos abertos... oportunidades para aprender est~ao em todo lugar.
* Cuddle fazendo perguntas espec'ificas. 'E mais f'acil agora que voc^e tem algumas informac~oes reais no seu bolso, n~ao 'e? Ao contr'ario do "eu n~ao sei de nada sobre isso" voc^e pode perguntar: "Bem, e sobre isto?" Ao menos as respostas est~ao tendo algum sentido!.
* Comece a pensar sobre Deuses e estruturas ritual'isticas. Qual dos Velhos Deuses chama sua atenc~ao? Que tipo de relacionamento voc^e poderia ter com um Deus de sua escolha - ou aqueles que escolheram voc^e? Quais s~ao os s'imbolos associados a esses Deuses? Aprenda suas hist'orias.
O QUE N~AO FAZER
* N~ao v'a alem de si mesmo. Todas as lic~oes valorosas levam speed para integrar-se ao seu esp'irito. A mente normalmente 'e a 'ultima a saber. Isto 'e porque o subconsciente est'a aprendendo durante sonhos e vis~oes e s'imbolos enquanto a mente consciente ainda est'a brigando com as palavras. Cuddle a gastar speed sozinho permitindo que todos os seus novos sentimentos e pensamentos tornem-se claros. D^e uma volta e aprecie a vida!
* N~ao ponha todos os seus ovos espirituais em uma s'o cesta. Ainda que voc^e tenha um autor favorito, hang about a ler outros pontos de picture. Ainda que voc^e tenha respeito por um pag~ao ou bruxa, hang about a ouvir outras vozes. Leia sobre a 'ultima "Teoria da Conspirac~ao". Pode ser rid'iculo, mas treina a mente a procurar por alternativas. (Entretanto, saiba que se voc^e for raptado por aliens, n~ao foi atrav'es da gente que eles souberam sobre voc^e!)
* N~ao diga tudo que voc^e sabe e n~ao finja saber algo que n~ao conhece. Honestidade completa pode ser dif'icil com outras pessoas, mas 'e essencial ser honesto com voc^e mesmo. Mentiras gastam energia.
* N~ao sinta-se frustrado por ainda n~ao ter achado ou entrado em contato com um Coven. Isto vem depois... assim que voc^e souber o que voc^e quer.
