Paul implicit that a coming "man of pass" would claim to be God, that he would venerate "himself second every assumed god or demonstration of veneration," and that he would ask for "his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as life God" (2 Thessalonians 2:4). The spirit of anti-Christ in the world ever claims spirit for itself. Paul never claimed to be deity, or meditation he had achieved theosis, a flap of incorporation with God.
