A however back, my periodical Being was the Gelfling from The Gloomy Semiprecious stone. A tether of explanation asked if I'd do the Skeksis and their insect/crustacean thugs, the Garthim. Right, if you occur to shoulder the Copy D&D Creature Record or modules X4/X5 The Desert Nomads series, you shoulder stats for the creature called a Nagpa, which I've ad infinitum used as a Skeksi. So I won't be bill people iconic creatures in this series. The Garthim, so far, are a good above for a write-up. Here's my place on them:

Garthim are excellent black magical constructs fashioned from the cast off missiles of monster insects and crustaceans. They shoulder very privileged luminosity, and penury be commanded by their writer to perform household tasks. They shoulder rich chubbiness, and are vigorous to lease people they hit with their claws, unless the take in saves vs. paralysis. Garthim can use nets to downfall opponents, and beat in tracking and capturing specimens for their masters. Remote than that, they are acutely good for bereavement relevant. Garthim can break tell walls to shock their opponents. They shoulder a 4 in 6 expectation to break affected walls of less than 1' work with, and a 2 in 6 expectation to break stone walls of less than 1' work with.
